ALDERSTEEL LTD, trading as TARLI STUDIO, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, when we share it and the rights available to you.
Who we are
ALDERSTEEL LTD is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17243968. Our contact address is 96 Leadenhall Street, London EC3A 3DH. You can contact us at huugo.920@gmail.com or +44 20 4401 8215.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, telephone number, order and return history, payment status and limited payment information, communications with customer care, marketing preferences, device and browser information, IP address, cookie identifiers, website activity and fraud-prevention signals.
We usually receive information directly from you, from your device when you use the store, and from service providers involved in payments, fulfilment, delivery, analytics, security and customer support.
How and why we use information
- To take payment, fulfil and deliver orders, manage returns and provide customer support because this is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep accounting, tax and transaction records and respond to lawful requests because we must comply with legal obligations.
- To secure the store, prevent fraud, understand service performance and improve our operations where this is necessary for our legitimate interests and those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- To send marketing where you have consented or where another lawful basis applies. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To use non-essential cookies or similar technology where consent is required. You can manage choices through the store’s privacy controls.
Payments
Payments are handled by Shopify and the payment providers presented at checkout. We do not store full payment-card details. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Who we share information with
We may share only what is reasonably necessary with Shopify; payment processors; fulfilment partners; delivery carriers; technology, hosting, analytics and customer-support providers; professional advisers; insurers; fraud-prevention services; and public authorities where disclosure is legally required. We may also disclose information as part of a genuine business sale, reorganisation or acquisition, subject to appropriate safeguards.
International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires it, we use an approved transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy regulations or contractual protections.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including fulfilling orders, resolving disputes and meeting tax, accounting and legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the record and applicable requirements. We then delete or anonymise information securely where reasonably possible.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to request access to, correction or deletion of your information; to restrict or object to processing; to receive certain information in a portable format; and to withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
To exercise a right, contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children who cannot lawfully provide it. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information improperly.
